A little close up of one of my palette knife fruit bowl attempts. Hopefully you can see the sgraffito and impasto effects. Randomly while this is a still life it's not actually based on an actual fruit bowl, shock horror I know! However it's the same composition as an earlier one. This took a while to get right and really pop but I totally love it. As a result it is in our corridor, however this means it never gets seen in natural light which is a bit of a shame.
