A close up of 'the gold rabbit'. Sometimes I just paint and have no clear intention of what I want the picture to be. Then I tweak and manipulate the paint into vague shapes. Sometimes I'm doing no more than making shapes that are pleasing to me aesthetically. This was one such. It is a small canvass and I was playing around with metallic paints and trying to get a bold colour rather than a blended effect which I normally end up with. At first I wasn't too keen but now I really enjoy this one.
