One of the things I am enjoying most about roller painting is the abstract nature of the image. It teases being something without being a line drawing. There is something satisfying about an inclusion of shape and shade from nothing more than blended colours and rippled texture. It is also very satisfying that by using paint straight from the bottle onto the wood I am retaining the luminosity of the paint. It is not fading and becoming dark and grey but holds that brilliance of tone that I am after. Ooooh check me out on a Monday morning before coffee! #art #painting #artist #colour #blending #paint #style #abstract #landscape #artisforall #flaming_abstracts
