A curved stave of an oak barrel painted. The light on this makes it pretty tricky to photograph. This is a combination of crackle paint, acrylic, metallics, glitter and varnish. I love this effect even if some people might find it a bit plain compared with some of my other work. It reminds me of fractals, or lichens, or a map. Definitely, in my opinion, a less is more kind of painting. What are your views?
