For someone with mild colour-blindness I get praised with good use of colour. OK it's by family and friends who are nice about this kind of thing, however there is something satisfying about blending colours together. What I like is the fact you can't help but make it into something else. In my opinion you are almost forced into trying to see the picture as a landscape, to make out a distinction between land and sky. Even though really at the heart of the picture it is just a pleasing array of colours blending together. What I don't like is choosing when the picture is 'finished' as there is no formal composition or foreground/background is it finished? Is it more than just decoration?
