Bit of a personal one but bare with me. . When I was younger I hated reading. I didn't have the patience for sitting and reading novels or books. Would rather be out doing something else. In fact it wasn't until I was at uni that I became a voracious reader. . My dad, however, used to buy me comics (although I think it was mostly for him too). . Initially it was the art that drew me in. Then it was the action. Finally it was the stories. Before I knew it I was reading as many comics as I could get my hands on, then rereading them to really understand what has happening. Basically I loved stories and I loved reading them. . So this one is to everyone who struggles to read a book. . Comics are a great way in, and they can be as complex or as simple as you are ready for. . So I would urge you, read a webcomic, read a graphic novel, read a one shot, read a collection, read a newspaper funny. Whatever it is just keep reading. Keep looking and keep learning .
