Had a load of experiments out of kiln. This is my favourite but it's a close call. Ink spots, copper adventurine, sea green and sedona sky on this one. Learning a lot about glazes, hopefully will put it all to good use. This one was tuxedo black base coat (not a step I will repeat), copper adventurine, sea green and mirror blue. The trick with the copper seems to be to slather it on! We shall see if that is true with the new batch when they are fired. #glaze #ceramics #abstractart #pottery #colour #learning

The design was carved in the next day, proving that you really need to turn pots to get the best out of them! Glaze is tuxedo black sponged back to give a dry brush effect. Enjoy this vase but it only holds a couple of flowers... #vase #ceramics #ceramicart #abstractart #pottery #glaze #throwing
